A glimpse into my Sketchbook
It has always been difficult for me to keep a traditional sketchbook—I often felt my art wasn’t “good enough” for its pages. Instead, these small experimentations in varying media have become my sketchbook. Since becoming a mother, my creative time is unpredictable, sometimes thirty minutes, sometimes three hours. Working on these pages allows me to continue my practice within the rhythms of new motherhood—intimate moments of process, growth, and discovery captured on paper. They are sort of the fragments of motherhood and making.
